Coding Session Conduct

Be respectful when sharing projects or giving feedback.

Be constructive when commenting on others’ projects, say something you like about it and offer suggestions.

Keep personal info private online. For safety reasons, don’t use real names or post contact info like phone numbers or addresses.

Help keep Coding Zone Class friendly. If you think a project or comment is mean, insulting, too violent, or otherwise inappropriate, please let your teacher know about it.

Coding Zone reserves the right to release, without refund of program fees, any child whose behavioural, emotional, or intellectual needs become unmanageable. This action will not be taken without warnings.

Coding Zone is NOT responsible for damages or loss of any personal property while at a session.

Pickup Policy

Authorised parents or carers must collect children from programs. The only people that your child will be released to are those listed on your information form.

Coding Zone must be notified in advance if you allow your child to leave on their own.

Make-up Sessions and Credits

Coding Zone must be notified of an absence at least 2 hours before the start of the scheduled session.

Make-up sessions must be booked in advance. No make-up session will be allowed if you fail to notify the Coding Zone of your child’s absence.

If your make-up class is missed a replacement class may not be offered.

Make-up classes are subject to availability.

No credits due to absences because of force majeure, holidays, exams or clashes with other activities or commitments.

Credit letters are issued only for illnesses on presentation of a Medical Certificate.

Sickness and Absence

Please do not send children to Coding Zone if they are suffering from any respiratory symptoms, no matter how mild, and/or any other contagious disease eg: fever, head cold, flu, cold sores, vomiting, diarrhoea, head lice, ringworm, urinary tract infection.

Coding Zone reserves the right to perform temperature checks and dismiss children from sessions if any of the above symptoms are present.

Cancellations

Coding Zone reserves the right to cancel any sessions or camps due to insufficient enrolment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made.

Force Majeure

In the event Coding Zone is forced to close due to natural disaster, fire, theft or destruction of property, pandemic, the government order, tuition and fees paid at the date of closure are not refundable.

Coding Zone reserves the right to stop all in-person classes at the physical facility and resume service virtually/online.

Tuition will continue to be charged at the full amount if Coding Zone is required to move to virtual/online classes only or a hybrid of virtual/online and in-person sessions.

Payment

We will send you a confirmation email for the Tuition Fees upon successful enrolment. Tuition Fees are collected upfront and are payable via credit/debit card or bank transfer.

If you fail to pay the Tuition Fees, we reserve the right to cancel the Student’s enrolment in the Course, in which case the Student will not be allowed to attend any further classes.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

A full refund will be made if classes or camp are canceled by Coding Zone, and no makeup class could be provided.

Camp / Casual Class Cancellations:
• Cancellations made at least SEVEN days from the start date will receive a 100% refund.
• Cancellations made between six and four days from the start date will receive a 50% refund.
• There are NO REFUNDS for programs canceled THREE days or LESS prior to the start date.

Term Class Cancellations:
• Cancellations made at least SEVEN days from the first Term class start date will receive a 100% refund.
• Cancellations made between six and four days from the term start date will receive a 50% refund.
• There are NO REFUNDS for programs canceled THREE days or LESS prior to the start date or term program.
• If you are signed up for a full term and attended at least one class or it is less than 3 days before the Term class start, we do not provide any refunds.

Refunds for Bookings via Third-Party Booking Systems:
• If you book through a third-party booking system like Eventbrite or any other, you are responsible for paying a refund fee.
• Refund fees charged by the third-party booking system will be deducted from your refund amount.

Makeup Classes:
• Makeup classes could be offered either as online classes or in-person group classes, depending on what Coding Zone provides. The type of makeup class provided will be at the discretion of Coding Zone.
• Makeup classes are subject to availability and could be provided by presenting a medical certificate stating that the child is unfit to participate in the coding class on the date of absence.

Permission for Use of Photographs/Videos of Students

Students at Coding Zone will be involved in various activities where they may be photographed and/or filmed. Photographs and/or videos of Students may be reproduced in our publications, marketing materials and website for promotional purposes.

By accepting our Terms and Conditions parents/guardians have given consent for Coding Zone to use and publish photographs and/or videos of your child for promotional purposes. However, a parent/guardian is also able to give Coding Zone written notification that photo and video consent has not been given.

The online class may be recorded for the purpose of analysis and improvement of the educational process. The purpose of recording and analyzing the online classes is to enhance the learning process, improve the teaching methodologies, and evaluate the effectiveness of the online education program. The recorded classes will be reviewed by authorized personnel, including instructors, administrators, and researchers, for the following purposes:

Assessing the quality of instruction and identifying areas for improvement.

Analyzing student engagement, participation, and comprehension.

Monitoring and enhancing the technical aspects of the online learning platform.

Conducting educational research and data analysis to enhance the overall educational experience.

Free Giveaway Coding Camp Tickets

Free Giveaway Coding Camp Tickets are not transferable or cannot be exchanged for cash.

There are NO REFUNDS or change of date if student can not attend the camp with a giveaway ticket

Free Trial Class

Please note that the Free Trial Class is intended for new students to experience our coding program before making a commitment. By adhering to this policy, we can ensure that as many new students as possible get the opportunity to try our classes.

The Free Trial Class is available for new students only.

If you have previously attended a Free Trial Class, you are no longer eligible to book another Free Trial Class.

If you book a Free Trial Class but cancel it or fail to show up for the scheduled class, you will no longer be eligible to book another Free Trial Class in the future.
